EXCELLENTBased on 1142 reviewsVerifiedAngelika S2024-10-06A most enjoyable stay As soon as we arrived Kevin the Hotel manager found us a room on the ground floor as I can't do many steps. You can see he loves his job. The room was cozy, the mattresses perfect, WIFI well working, a desk big enough for notebook and assessories, a comfortable chair. A comfortable shower, a big enough bathroom. The location next to Kelsingrove Park very suitable. Small restaurants with delicious food in walkable distance, secured carpark a 5 minutes walk away.VerifiedGordon Black2024-09-305 stars great wee overnight stay Great hotel, staff were excellent Kevin was very helpful when we checked in. room was spotless bed was amazing great location for local bars and restaurants really pleasant over night stay would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.VerifiedIain G2024-09-18Pleasant stay Easy to get to from the East /Perth direction and was luck to get parking on street outside. Friendly greeting on arrival and rooms clean with nice views from window. We were in a rush to get on the move in the morning and had not taken the opportunity to try out the breakfast which looked well presented and extensive.Verified426stuart2024-09-13An ideal hotel Very clean and a most welcoming hotel ideally situated to be close enough to walk into the city centre but be in a quiet area. The staff are most helpful and the breakfasts are excellent that set you up for the rest of the day. Returning in the evening to a well turned out cosy room is perfect after a good day in the city, we highly recommend the Acorn hotel and we shall return again soon.VerifiedVijay K2024-09-12Great stay at Acorn Hotel Greet stay , clean rooms , adequate location . Comfortable beds, clean, great breakfast. Perfect location for walking in the park. Good eating close by and short walk to busses and museums. A bit hot though, even with window open on a cool night.Verifiedmarilyn r2024-09-06All is covered in the above hopefully. Good value for money, I had a very pleasant stay. There is so much to see in Gla. I can't fault the Acorn hotel for cleanliness, food and facilities. Everything I needed was present. I found the location, next to a park, and out of the busyness of the city centre, particularly attractive. Staff were courteous and helpful and efficient. I would return there gladly.Verifieddebchan20152024-08-21Clean, comfortable, convenient - great value for money Always stay here when in Glasgow. Great location for easy access to both town centre and west end. Comfortable beds and great cooked breakfast. Rooms vary in size and are basic but have everything you need including safe, hairdryer and tea/coffee. My only small gripe - I can live with the towels not being changed every day unless they need it but really really do want my dirty coffee cup exchanged for a fresh one! The fan in my room was broken too but sadly not warm enough to need it. Overall excellent value for money!

Kevin was extremely helpful and gave us lots of information on the sights to visit in Glasgow.Kelsey Neilson2024-10-12Our brief stay here was comfortable and the desk clerk was very helpful and accommodating. The location was beautiful, right at the start of the West End and allowed for enjoyable walks to local parks.Krisztina Ancza2024-10-11Great hotel, great location. Everything was nice and tidy. The bed is comfortable. The receptionist was really helpful and polite. It was a great stay.Eric Thomson2024-10-06Extremely quiet, walking distance to the train and bus depots. Close to plenty of eating places. Kevin the manager was very friendly and always helpful.Roger Hayes2024-10-04The Acorn has a wonderful location walkable to City Centre, Finnieston and of course the Kelvingrove Museum. The hotel is very clean and well managed.. The rooms are small which is the only reason this is not a five star review. Considering the cost of the rooms, the Acorn is a five star value for a short stay.
