Long weekend in Glasgow

Lovely hotel, homely feel with great manager Kevin looking after us the whole weekend. Breakfast was fab, would definitely recommend having. Very friendly, clean, great service
Kevin hosted us with humour, charm and efficiency at check in at 9.30pm and at breakfast. The Glasgow humour is not to be missed! Room was spacious, clean and well equipped (no shampoo etc but not a problem for me as I always take my own). Walls are a bit thin - next door's late TV watching briefly woke my husband. Great little hotel

Nice place & kind people
The hotel is situated in a very nice neighborhood. Staff is very friendly and respond very fast to requests (i.e. request for an additional towel or blanket). The hotel is easily approached via public transportation, 7-day supermarket is nearby. Walls are not sound proof, so if you are very sensitive with the sound, the place is not recommended. We are not supersensitive to noise, and despite we could listen to our neighbor's alarm, we didn't encounter noise problems. The prices were very rational for the area. Great place to stay in Glasgow
We stayed here for a weekend and it was very nice indeed. The host couldn’t do enough for you (Kevin), he was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated, near lots of bars and restaurant. In fact there is a restaurant below the hotel which is great. The room was adequate and the breakfast was extremely good. Perfect Location
The position was ideal, close to many west end restaurants, bars and cafes. It was also walking distance to the city centre. We did not have breakfast but this suited us. Really great small hotel near the West end & UoG. Kevin on reception & in the kitchen for breakfast is fantastic. Always pleasant, always gives us a warm welcome & nothing is too much trouble. The rooms & beds are comfortable & the breakfast, cooked by Kevin, really set you up for the day.
