We do love to welcome our little visitors; they are the tourists of the future. Although most venues listed below are suitable for a variety of age groups, it is always worth checking in advance if certain areas or attractions have restrictions.

Your little Einstein’s will spend hours of fun here. Located in the Clyde Waterfront Regeneration area, it houses three main buildings, a science mall, Glasgow tower and an IMAX cinema.

Ideal for a day out with all the family, the Botanic Gardens are easily to get to, situated in the West End of Glasgow. Open daily, younger kids will enjoy minibeasts, the birds and the tree trails that lead you through a trail of the Gardens and Arboretum.

Climbing is often considered a high-risk sport, but not at the climbing academy. Irrespective of ability, age and experience, you are welcome to try your hand at bouldering. It’s considered great fun and a good workout!

There are an amazing 25 bowling lanes here, an American themed diner and endless arcade games to supply lots of fun. Family prices are from £23.85, so great value all round.

This is THE place to go if you have kids under 10. With 8 zones to visit, your little ones will be thrilled and entertained as they enjoy imaginary play in at the Playhouses, and physical play in the soft play or climbing wall zones. Located close to Silverburn shopping centre.

If you have a gamer in your house, you won’t be able to pass up an opportunity to visit here. From retro videogames to the very latest merch, you’ll really enjoy browsing through all they have on sale.

An exciting attraction, with the climbing space for anyone over 4 years old, meaning kids and families can get involved.

Climbing frames, ball pools, slides, it’s all here at the Wonder World Soft Play. The flagship centre is in Glasgow on Middlesex Street and caters for children of all ages from babies to 12 years. Tickets must be purchase in advance of arrival.

At the end of a long day, or even if you’ve been let down by the Scottish weather, there’s always the cinema to entertain the kids!
