EXCELLENTVerified Great place to stop - easy access to the heart of the city, Just back from 3 nights stay at the Acorn. What a great hotel. Ideally placed within easy walking distance to the city centre and close to Kelvingrove Park with its museum and art gallery. On arrival we were greeted by Alan who was extremely helpful on checking in and gave us great tips on local bars etc. The rooms were a good size, very clean, warm and the bed was excellent. Great free wi-fi coverage. We breakfasted on 2 mornings and there was an excellent choice, more than enough. Coffee was good. One little niggle, the cooked breakfast would be tip top if the quality of the sausage was improved. Would we stay at the Acorn again if visiting Glasgow? 100% yes.Verified Perfec t. Breakfast was perfect ... not over loaded and cooked as we waited. This was a great experience and I am very happy to say I will be back. A very nice hotel, great location, and very clean and comfy. Just on the edge of the busyness(sp), but 5 minutes walk takes you to loads of pubs, restaurants and clubs. We were going to a gig at the garage (the attic) so was a brilliant location for us.
