Willow Grove
Just a few minutes walk from the Acorn on the leafy end of Sauchiehall Street, this speciality coffee shop serves excellent coffee and cakes and boasts a fabulous lunch menu – with the likes of sweet potato, coconut and chilli soup. A chilled out vibe awaits you with a compilation of 70’s folk rock – just perfect to watch the world go by!

Singl-end
Causing a stir in the city’s café scene is Singl-end, whose quirky basement café and bakehouse in Garnethill has become so in demand that they have now opened a second cafe in the Merchant City.This little spot is not merely a café but also has it’s own bakehouse, baking some of the best bread, cakes and brunches in the city, with an abundance of gluten-free and veggie options too ! Just over a five minute walk from the Acorn, this unique artisan café does what it says on the tin – which is present delicious, hearty food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, as well as serving the odd celebrity or two… Christian Slater sampled the grub there while on location in Glasgow shooting his movie “The Wife” with his ultra famous co-star Glenn Close. Both family and dog-friendly too!

Mackintosh At the Willow
This is not to be missed! designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and first opened in 1903. Enjoy exquisite tea, coffee and delightful food at this A listed historical venue.
