I’d stay here again.
Super comfortable beds nice views from the room we were in, nice space in general. Great location. My only complaint: nothing but decaf coffee in the room! Great value Glasgow hotel
We have stayed at many hotels in the UK. This one is terrific. Very clean and quiet, which is a big plus for my light sleeper husband. It’s close to many good eateries(recommend the Ox and Finch), as well as other attractions. Little things like real milk in the in room coffee service are a plus. Excellent hotel, great service, good value for money, and perfect location for Kelvingrove and nearby attractions.
Duty manager Kevin was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well presented, thanks to Karen and her housekeeping colleagues. Delicious veggie cooked breakfast with lots of choice at the self-service buffet. Visit to kings theatre.
2nd time staying here. Going to kings theatre.ideal Location, Small friendly hotel. Hotel manager books you in and cooks you breakfast next morning. Very pleasant helpful chap, and cooks a mean breakfast. Also offer you free coffee and tea throughout the day that the big chains don't. My wife has mobility issues so get a room on bottom floor as was arranged by email, and disabled parking right outside the front door that is free to blue badge holders. Great hotel, really handy to walk into city centre.

Great value friendly hotel in bustling Finnieston
We loved staying at The Acorn hotel, it was the perfect location for our visit to OVO Hydro, Finnieston and exploring the centre of Glasgow. Manager Alan is the perfect host: friendly, knowledgable and a whizz in the breakfast kitchen every morning, rustling up a full Scottish breakfast to set you up for the day! Wonderful fine for a hotel
Wonderful, small hotel close to everything! The manager (Kevin) was excellent from meeting us when our taxi dropped off us, to assisting us when we brought food in with plates and silverware, to calling for maintenance on the new heater (was fixed within an hour). It appeared that Kevin was always there and always helpful. My husband had a medical issue on our second day and Kevin advised him to go directly to the emergency room. He called a taxi for him and advised the driver on where to take him. Everything worked out well. Stored our luggage for us upon our arrival and for a short time when we departed. Excellent small hotel
We were very happy with our stay at the Acorn Hotel. Both of our rooms were very clean and comfortable and we all enjoyed a good nights sleep. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Excellent hotel, friendly and caring staff, great breakfast
The Acorn is a lovely hotel with super helpful staff. Recommend to anyone travelling to Glasgow for work or leisure. I stay frequently and staff are excellenr. Recently recarpeted throughout, warm, comfortable and quiet. The hotel service was very helpful and kind. Breakfasts are realy good and keep you full for a long time. Rooms are nice, I would say you have more space than in other hotels I've visited. The only drawback is that at least my room didn't have a fridge but it wasn't a big problem because I didn't have the need for one.
